We are both using Nintendo switch but we are playing Minecraft. Not console edition. Bedrock edition if you will.

First off thank you for replying. Second: Neither if us are playing xbox one. We are bith using switchs. Occasionally my friend will play the windows 10 edition on his computer and we couldnt get it to work on there either. He has in the past been able to connect with other players though, whuch makes this mess so much more confusing.

P.p.s. I also got the xbox app and added my friend on there and when he is online it comes up with the same issue of him appearing offline.
